Cross-Eye Dominant Shooting – Left Eye Dominant Right Handed
Hey guys, Chris Sajnog here. In this post, I'm going to teach you cross-eye dominant shooting to know if you are right-handed and left-eye dominant, and how you can easily fix that at the range. Let's go ahead and get started. I've got a super easy technique for you to line up those sites.
Other Options
Some other ways that you might hear are if you are right-handed, but need to line up these sites with your left eye to take the gun and cant it over to the side. Well, you don't want to do this because that weakens your shooting position, and you never want to do that if possible.

The other way in this cross-eye dominant shooting is to tilt your head to the side. If you do that, it’s not a proper position for your body. Plus now you would be looking off to this side with your peripheral vision and I want to keep your eyes forward.
My Techniques
So the way that I've found that works the best is to get in a good shooting stance and shift your gun so it is lined up with your left eye. By doing that, it's going to take some muscle memory and some training to learn, but you're able to keep this same triangle position and you're able to keep the strength in that position when you're shooting.
And that's all in this cross-eye dominant shooting. Go ahead and try that out. Let me know what you think. Until next time, keep paving your path to perfection.
